ARCHIVING
Archiving
Applied Information System and Management (AISM) utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed digital archiving system among participating libraries. These systems allow participating libraries to create permanent archives of journal content for preservation and restoration purposes.
All content preserved in the CLOCKSS Archive and the Global LOCKSS Network is archived with explicit publisher permission, secured through written agreements or online permission statements. This preservation mechanism supports the long-term accessibility, integrity, and recovery of published journal content.
AISM supports distributed preservation through the LOCKSS system to ensure journal content remains accessible and restorable over time.
CLOCKSS provides a secure preservation network that protects journal content and supports restoration when needed.
AISM allows authors to deposit versions of their work, and all published articles are deposited in the Portal Garuda repository.
