AISM is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published since 2018 by the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Association for Informatics and Computer Higher Education (APTIKOM), Indonesia.

The journal publishes applied research on Information Systems and Information Systems Management, including development, implementation, evaluation, operation, policy, strategy, governance, and emerging digital technologies.

Aim

AISM aims to publish research articles focused on applied issues of Information Systems and its management. The journal emphasizes practical, methodological, and theoretical contributions related to the development, implementation, evaluation, operation, management, policy, and strategy of Information Systems, including their intersections with management, organizations, and emerging digital technologies. AISM serves academics, researchers, and practitioners worldwide and follows the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (see Publication Ethics).

Platform Migration Notice

Since early 2026, AISM has been published on Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3, migrated from OJS version 2. The migration changed only the publishing platform. The journal's name, e-ISSN, p-ISSN, publisher, focus and scope, and all published content remain the same. Every article keeps its DOI, publication date, volume, issue, and page numbers.

New submissions are accepted only through this website. The earlier OJS 2 site is kept as a read-only archive. See Journal History for details.
