Copyright

Authors who publish in Applied Information System and Management (AISM) retain the copyright of their work without restriction. Copyright is held jointly by all authors of the article, and the copyright line on every article reads: "Copyright © [year] [names of the authors]".

Rights Granted to the Journal

By submitting a manuscript, the authors grant AISM a non-exclusive license to:

• publish the article for the first time and present it as published in AISM;
• reproduce, distribute, and display the article in electronic and printed form;
• register a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for it, and deposit its metadata and full text in indexing services, databases, and repositories; and
• preserve it in digital archives, including LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and Portal Garuda.

The journal does not receive any other rights, and the authors remain free to use their work as described below.

License

Every article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows anyone to:

• Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercially; and
• Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the material, for any purpose, including commercially,

provided that they give appropriate attribution to the authors and to the first publication in AISM, link to the license, and indicate if changes were made, and that they distribute any adapted work under the same license. These freedoms cannot be revoked as long as the license terms are followed.

Author Rights

• Authors may enter into separate, non-exclusive arrangements for the distribution of the published version, such as posting it in an institutional repository or including it in a book or thesis, with acknowledgement of its first publication in AISM.
• Authors may post any version of their work, including the submitted manuscript (preprint), the accepted manuscript, and the published version, in institutional or subject repositories, on personal or institutional websites, and on academic profiles, at any time and with no embargo. Once the article is published, the posted version should include a full citation and a link to its DOI. See Open Access Policy.
• Authors may reuse their article, in whole or in part, in their own later work, such as lectures, presentations, or theses, with proper citation.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce figures, tables, images, screenshots, or long excerpts whose copyright belongs to others, unless the material is already available under a compatible open license. The source and permission are stated in the caption, for example "Reprinted from [source] with permission from [copyright holder]" or "Adapted from [source], licensed under CC BY 4.0". Material that is not covered by the CC BY-SA 4.0 license of the article is clearly marked as such.

Agreement at Submission

By ticking the copyright statement in the submission checklist, the corresponding author confirms on behalf of all authors that:

• the authors are the copyright holders of the work and have the right to grant the license above;
• permission has been obtained for any third-party material; and
• the authors agree to publish the article under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Display on Published Articles

The copyright line and the license, with its logo and link, are shown on the first page of every article PDF, on the article page, and in the article metadata.
