Open Access Policy
Applied Information System and Management (AISM) is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely available to everyone, immediately upon publication, without subscription or access fees and without registration. This policy follows the definition of open access in the Budapest Open Access Initiative: free availability on the public internet, permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

What Readers May Do
Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, anyone may, without asking permission from the authors or the journal:
- Share: copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercial use; and
- Adapt: remix, transform, translate, and build upon the article, for any purpose, including commercial use.
on the following conditions:
- Attribution: give appropriate credit to the authors and to the original publication in AISM, including the DOI, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made; and
- ShareAlike: distribute any adapted work under the same license as the original.
Text and data mining, indexing, and machine harvesting of AISM content are permitted. Article metadata are openly available through the OAI-PMH interface at journal.uinjkt.ac.id/index.php/aism/oai, and the license is shown on every article page and in its metadata.
Author Rights and Self-Archiving
Authors keep the copyright of their work and are permitted and encouraged to deposit any version of their article, with no embargo, in:
- institutional repositories, such as the repository of their own university;
- subject repositories and preprint servers;
- personal or institutional websites and academic profiles, such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, SINTA, or Garuda.
When depositing the published version, authors acknowledge its first publication in AISM with a full citation and a link to the DOI.
How Open Access Is Funded
Free access for readers is made possible by the institutional support of the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, and by the publication fee paid for accepted articles. Payment of the fee has no influence on editorial decisions. Details are provided on the Ownership and Management and Publication Fees pages.
