About the Journal
Applied Information System and Management (AISM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia, in collaboration with Association for Informatics and Computer Higher Education (APTIKOM). Since its first issue in 2018, AISM has been published twice a year without interruption and is accredited SINTA 2 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
Aim
AISM publishes research on applied issues of Information Systems and Information Systems Management. The journal emphasizes practical, methodological, and theoretical contributions to the development, implementation, evaluation, operation, management, policy, and strategy of Information Systems, including their intersections with management, organizations, and emerging digital technologies.

Publishing Schedule and Track Record
AISM has published two regular issues every year since Volume 1 Number 1 (2018): the first issue in May and the second in October. Since 2025, each issue has contained 20 original articles. Recent issues bring together authors from seven to nine countries, reflecting the journal's national and international readership.
Peer Review and Publication Ethics
Every manuscript passes initial editorial screening, similarity and ethics screening, and a format check before double-blind review by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. Final decisions are made by the editorial board based on reviewer reports and the authors' revisions. AISM follows the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. Open Access and Copyright
All content is freely available without charge to readers or their institutions, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative. Authors retain copyright and grant AISM the right of first publication, with the work licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Ownership and Management
AISM is owned and published by the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, which supports the journal's operations. Editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial board. See Ownership and Management.
