Peer Review Process
JURNAL INDO-ISLAMIKA is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year since 2011. Manuscripts submitted to this journal should be written in English, Arabic or Indonesian language. The journal primarily accepts original-research-based manuscripts for its publication and only accepts a small proportion of non-research papers. All submitted manuscripts are subject to stages of editorial process including a double-blind review process. Once a manuscript is submitted to the journal through an online submission process, an assigned section editor will do an initial screening to examine eligibility of the manuscript for a full review process (for example, whether it is in compliance with the focus and scope of the journal). If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be blindly reviewed by two reviewers, and a third reviewer maybe added in case the two reviewers have differing opinions on the review results. Considering review reports by the peer reviewers, the journal editorial board will finally deliberate on the final decision, whether to accept or reject the manuscript.
