01	Copyright and First Publication

Authors retain the copyright of their published works and grant Jurnal Indo-Islamika the right of first publication. The published articles are simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to share, reproduce, distribute, and adapt the works, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original authors and the journal, and that adaptations are distributed under the same or a compatible license.

02	Non-Exclusive Distribution

In developing strategy and setting priorities, JURNAL INDO-ISLAMIKA recognizes that free access is better than priced access, libre access is better than free access, and libre under CC BY-SA 4.0 or the equivalent is better than libre under more restrictive open licenses. We should achieve what we can when we can. We should not delay achieving free in order to achieve libre, and we should not stop with free when we can achieve libre.
