Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The article submitted has to be academic, original and free from plagiarism. The writer of the submitted article has to provide statement letter which explains that the article is free from plagiarism and that he/she is responsible with the originality of the article. In addition, the writer has to submit the result or the proof from plagiarism checker.

Jurnal Indo-Islamika accepts only electronic submissions. All manuscripts should be sent in word to: indoislamika@uinjkt.ac.id

Article can be written in English between approximately 10-15 pages (6000-7500 words). All submission must include 150 words abstract and maximum 5 keywords.

Words in local or foreign languages should be translated into English. The transliteration system follows Library of Congress Romanization Tables.

Arabic romanization should be written: , b, t, th, j, , kh, d, dh, r, z, s, sh, , , , , , gh, f, q, l, m, n, h, w, y. Short vowels: a, i, u. Long vowels: ā, ī, ū. Diphthongs: aw, ay. Tā marbūṭā: t. Article: al-.


Double-check that references are in the correct format. Only those papers that are being referenced are to be included in the references section. Sources not being referenced in the text must be omitted. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred to in the manuscript. References should be the last 5-year publication with a minimum of 80% of the journal (especially from internationally recognized journals). References should be listed alphabetically by the author(s) last name(s) and the year of publication. This journal uses APA style 7th edition (Klik Here to download the APA Referencing Guide). We strongly suggested authors use reference management software EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc., to prepare citations and the list of references.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
