TAZKIYA Journal of Psychology focuses on empirical psychological research on behaviour, well-being, and performance in contemporary societies. Its emphasis is applied psychology, mainly industrial and organizational psychology and mental health and well-being, and it also publishes work in educational, social, and clinical psychology and in psychological measurement.

The journal accepts original empirical research across the main areas of psychology, including industrial and organizational, mental health and well-being, educational, social, clinical, developmental, as well as psychological measurement. It publishes quantitative studies employing methodologies such as survey research, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, psychometric validation, and advanced statistical technique.
