AHKAM: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah provides immediate and unrestricted open access to its published content based on the principle that making scholarly research freely available to the public promotes the global exchange of knowledge and contributes to the advancement of academic scholarship.

All published content, including research articles, book reviews, and other scholarly contributions, is freely accessible and can be read, downloaded, and shared directly through the journal's website without registration, subscription, or payment.

All articles published in AHKAM: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Under this license, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and adapt the published works, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any adaptations are distributed under the same license.

AHKAM adopts the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which recognizes open access as the free availability of scholarly literature on the public internet, allowing users to access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, and use scholarly works for any other lawful purpose, subject to proper attribution and applicable licensing conditions.

Through this open access policy, AHKAM is committed to supporting inclusive scholarly communication, expanding the dissemination of Islamic law and Sharia-related research, and facilitating broader academic engagement at both national and international levels.
