Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts submitted to AHKAM: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah must be submitted electronically through the journal's official online submission and manuscript management system, Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Authors are required to register and log in to the journal's OJS platform before submitting their manuscripts. All submissions must follow the journal's Author Guidelines and comply with its editorial policies and publication ethics.

1. Online Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the official AHKAM OJS submission system.

  • Manuscripts submitted via email, postal mail, or other channels will not be considered for editorial processing, except where explicitly authorized by the Editorial Board.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that all required submission metadata, author information, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, and supporting documents are completed accurately in the OJS system.

2. Manuscript File Format

  • The main manuscript must be prepared and uploaded in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), following the journal's official manuscript template and formatting requirements.

  • Authors must ensure that tables, figures, illustrations, and other visual materials are clearly presented and appropriately cited in the manuscript.

  • Figures and images should be provided in high-resolution format, preferably JPEG, PNG, or TIFF, with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI where applicable.

  • Any supplementary materials required for the editorial and peer-review process must be uploaded through the appropriate sections of the OJS submission system.

3. Authors' Responsibilities

Before completing the submission, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another journal.

  • The manuscript complies with AHKAM's scope, author guidelines, and publication ethics.

  • All authors have approved the submitted version and agreed to its submission to AHKAM.

  • All required declarations and supporting documents have been provided.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the submission requirements may be returned to authors for technical corrections before proceeding to the editorial screening stage.

Through this submission policy, AHKAM: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah aims to ensure an efficient, transparent, and standardized manuscript submission and editorial management process.
