Tazkiya Journal of Psychology is a peer-reviewed, double-blind scientific journal in psychology published by the Faculty of Psychology, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta, Indonesia, in cooperation with the Indonesian Educational Evaluation Association (HEPI) & Asosiasi Psikologi Islam.

The journal facilitates the rapid dissemination of research findings for empirical-based practice and further scientific investigation in Indonesia and abroad. Published since 2000, it has been managed through Open Journal Systems since 2013.

The journal focuses on credible empirical studies in psychology and covers industrial psychology, educational psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, and other related studies in psychology.

Focus

This journal focuses on applied psychology in contemporary societies, with a primary emphasis on industrial and organizational psychology as well as mental health and well-being. It prioritizes high-quality quantitative empirical research that advances theory and practice through data-driven analysis, statistical modelling, and rigorous measurement in applied psychological settings.

Scope

The journal covers key areas in applied psychology, particularly industrial and organizational psychology and mental health and well-being. It publishes quantitative studies employing methodologies such as survey research, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, psychometric validation, and advanced statistical technique. Contributions from educational, social, and clinical psychology are considered only when they demonstrate strong relevance to applied psychological contexts and adhere to rigorous quantitative standards.
