About the Journal

The Journal of Legal Research (ISSN Online 2715-7164, ISSN Print 2715-7172) is an open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in June and December, by Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research on law and legal reform, with particular attention to the interaction between state law, Islamic law, and customary law. Its scope covers criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, civil and economic law, Islamic and family law, human rights, and law and technology, examined through doctrinal, empirical, socio-legal, and comparative approaches, in the Indonesian context and from a global perspective. Articles are published in English.
