Focus and Scope

The Journal of Legal Research aims to facilitate scholarly and professional discussion on the latest developments in innovative legal research addressing legal issues in Indonesia and internationally. Therefore, the Journal welcomes contributions from academics and legal professionals, as well as representatives of courts, executive authorities, and development cooperation institutions. The journal generally covers any topic related to law and the legal system. However, novelty is a priority in publication.

The journal aims to disseminate information and views on matters related to legal research, including developments in legal cases and regulations, as well as proposals for legal reform from legislative bodies and other relevant institutions or individuals. The journal publishes legal research in various formats, including articles, cases, regulations, notes, commentaries, and book reviews, covering themes related to legal research and offering in-depth reviews of Indonesian law and comparative law.
