Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Indonesia (JISI) focuses on contemporary theoretical, empirical, and applied issues across the social and political sciences.

The journal particularly welcomes studies that examine social, political, institutional, cultural, and public issues in contemporary societies, with attention to local, national, regional, and global contexts.
