Peer Review Process
Kordinat: Jurnal Komunikasi Antar Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (p-ISSN: 1411-6154, e-ISSN: 2654-8038) is a scientific, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal managed and published by Kopertais Wilayah I DKI Jakarta dan Banten. Published twice a year since 2016, the journal is bilingual (Indonesian, English, and Arabic) and focuses on Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, and Social Sciences.
All manuscripts submitted to Kordinat undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review period. This process aims to maintain objectivity, fairness, and the highest scholarly standards. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. In some cases, a third reviewer may be invited if further clarification or validation is required.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, methodological rigor, relevance to Islamic studies, clarity of presentation, and contribution to academic knowledge. The editorial team makes the final decision—acceptance, revision, or rejection—based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
To maintain transparency and academic integrity, Kordinat follows the ethical standards of scholarly publishing and adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The journal is officially registered as a member of CrossRef. Therefore, all published articles are assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for permanent identification and citation tracking.
