Author Guidelines
Kordinat: Jurnal Komunikasi Antar Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam
Kordinat: Jurnal Komunikasi Antar Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam provides a forum for publishing original articles, review papers, and scholarly reports related to Islamic Studies. Research articles dealing with Islamic Studies are particularly encouraged. The journal accepts research articles, original research reports, reviews, short communications, and scientific commentaries in the field of Islamic Studies.
All manuscripts submitted to this journal should be written in good Indonesian, English, or Arabic. Authors whose native language is not Indonesian, English, or Arabic are encouraged to have their manuscripts checked for grammar and clarity before submission. Indonesian, English, and Arabic language editing services can be provided by Kopertais Wilayah I DKI Jakarta dan Banten. The submitted work must not have been published or be under review elsewhere. The official languages of this journal are Indonesian, English, and Arabic.
General Author Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system at http://journal.uinjkt.ac.id/index.php/kordinat/user/register, where authors may register as Author and/or Reviewer. For technical difficulties, please contact the Editorial Office at kordinat@uinjkt.ac.id.
The following documents should accompany the submission (as supplementary files):
- Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) form (scanned copy).
- Cover Letter outlining the main findings and their significance.
- The manuscript (original, unpublished work).

Review Process
Every submitted paper is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The decision for publication, revision, or rejection is based on their recommendations. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication, an explanation will be sent to the author within three months of submission.
Revision of Manuscripts
Manuscripts returned for revision should be resubmitted promptly. Revised manuscripts can be uploaded through the Online Submission Interface. Submissions returned more than three months after revision requests will be treated as new submissions.

Guidelines for Online Submission
Authors must first register as Author and/or Reviewer via this link. After registration, log in and click New Submission, then follow the five-step submission process:
- Starting the Submission: Select the article type and check the submission checklist.
- Uploading the Submission: Upload your manuscript file.
- Entering Metadata: Fill in author information, corresponding author, title, abstract, and keywords.
- Uploading Supplementary Files: Upload the Cover Letter and Copyright Transfer Agreement.
- Confirming the Submission: Review all files, then click Finish Submission. Authors will receive a confirmation email and can track progress online.
User Rights
All articles published under Open Access are permanently free for everyone to read and download. The journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license.
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
- Manuscripts must represent original academic research in Islamic Studies.
- Authors must confirm that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- Structure of Manuscript:
- Title: Short, clear, and informative (maximum 12 words), written in Indonesian, English, and Arabic.
- Author Names and Institutions: Include institution and email, without titles or positions.
- Abstract and Keywords: 150–160 words, with 4–5 keywords in each of the three languages.
- Introduction: Explains background and purpose of the study.
- Discussion: Describes results and analysis.
- Conclusion: Provides summary and policy implications.
- References: Lists only cited works.
- Include subject and author indexes (key terms and cited authors).
- Acknowledgments, if any, should appear as a footnote to the title.
- Manuscripts should use A4 paper, double-spaced, single-sided, Times New Roman 12 pt, with 1-inch margins.
- Length: 9,000–13,000 words.
- Title: 14 pt uppercase, centered; Subtitles: uppercase, left-aligned; Sub-subtitles: title case, left-aligned.
- References should generally be from the last 10 years unless they are key sources.
