Copyright and License Terms
Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under an Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) License. This license allows others to share and adapt the work, provided proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal as the initial place of publication.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (for example, posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with proper acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) before, during, and after the submission process. This can lead to productive exchanges and increase citation and visibility of published work (see: The Effect of Open Access).

Open Access Policy
In developing its publishing strategy and setting editorial priorities, Kordinat: Jurnal Komunikasi Antar Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam recognizes the following principles:
- Free access is better than priced access.
- Libre access is better than free access.
- Libre access under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license (or its equivalent) is better than libre access under more restrictive licenses.
The journal upholds the principle of achieving what is possible when it is possible. We should not delay achieving free access in pursuit of libre access, and we should not stop at free when we can achieve libre.
