Publication Fees

Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Indonesia (JISI) is committed to supporting the principles of open access and ensuring transparency throughout the publication process. Accordingly, the author fee policy of JISI is established as follows.

Article Submission Fee

JISI does not charge any article submission fees.
Authors are not required to pay any fees at the time of submitting their manuscripts for processing by the journal.

Editorial and Review Process Fee

JISI does not charge any fees for the editorial process or peer review.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous selection and peer review process in accordance with academic standards, are processed in the order of submission, and incur no additional costs.

JISI does not offer fast-track or expedited review services.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

JISI applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100, which is charged only if the article is accepted for publication.

This fee is used to support journal management, editorial operations, and the maintenance of the open-access publishing platform.

No fees are charged to authors prior to the final decision on article acceptance.

Waiver Policy

Authors who do not have the financial capacity to pay the Article Processing Charge may apply for a fee waiver before their manuscript is accepted for publication.

Waiver requests will be considered by the editorial team in accordance with the journal’s policies and principles of academic fairness.

Open Access

All articles published in Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Indonesia (JISI) are made available in full open access and may be read, downloaded, and used by readers free of charge.
