PEMANFAATAN MEDIA FRACTION FUN BOARD DALAM MEMPENGARUHI KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI PECAHAN SEDEERHANA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fraction fun board media on students' mathematical representation abilities in simple fraction material for class II MI Jam'iyyatul Khair. This study is a Quasi Experiment study. The research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, documentation, and observation. The population in this study were students of class II MI Jam'iyyatul Khair in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling used a random sampling technique. The object of this study was the mathematical representation abilities of students of class II MI Jam'iyyatul Khair in simple fraction material. The data analysis technique used in this study was the t-test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the mathematical representation abilities of students in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class, the average value of the experimental class is 85.08 and the average value of the control class is 74.83; (2) there is a significant difference between students who use fraction fun board media and students who use simple fraction images. The results of this study indicate the probability value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000. The sig value of 0.000 <0.05, then it can be said that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the use of fraction fun board media on mathematical representation skills in simple fraction material in class II MI Jam'iyyatul Khair.
