DIFUSI INOVASI PROJEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA UNTUK PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research aims to describe the acceptance of character education innovations through the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) at SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang during the 2023-2024 academic year. Within the Independent Curriculum framework, P5 is an important approach to integrating Pancasila values in learning through thematic projects oriented towards developing student character. The research method used is a quantitative method of studying the diffusion of innovation. The data collection technique uses questionnaires and observation. The data analysis technique was carried out in a descriptive manner sourced from questionnaire data which was strengthened by observational data. The research results show that the diffusion of P5 innovation to strengthen the character education of Muhammadiyah elementary school students was successful at the implementation level as demonstrated by the implementation of batik, camping and reforestation projects which took place in 2023-2024. in building student character, such as the values of mutual cooperation, independence, and critical reasoning. Success factors include support from teachers, student participation, and suitability to local needs. This research provides practical and theoretical insights for the development of character education in Indonesia.
