About the Journal

Jurnal Kimia Valensi is a double blind peer-reviewed and open access journal published by Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta State Islamic University. This journal focuses on chemical research, particularly research related to the use of Indonesia's natural resources in the development of nanomaterials, pharmaceutical and food industries. We welcome articles coming from Indonesia and overseas, capturing the rapid development of chemistry, including:

  • Theoretical and computational chemistry
  • Environmental chemistry
  • Material, composite dan polymer chemistry
  • Organic synthesis and natural product chemistry
  • Food and medical chemistry
  • Biochemistry, and
  • Analytical chemistry

Jurnal Kimia VALENSI has become a CrossRef Member since May 2015. Therefore, all articles published by Jurnal Kimia VALENSI will have unique DOI number.

Jurnal Kimia VALENSI was indexed by scopus and accredited by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Republic of Indonesia: SK Dirjen Dikti No. 79/E/KPT/2023. Jurnal kimia valensi is a biannual journal published on May and November. Jurnal Kimia Valensi accept articles written in Bahasa Indonesia and English (preferable).Although we accept the manuscript in Indonesian, however we encourage the authors to write manuscripts in English.
