About the Journal

Jurnal Indo-Islamika is an academic journal published by the Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The journal has been accredited as SINTA 2 and indexed in DOAJ, with the registered numbers P-ISSN: 2088-9445 and E-ISSN: 2723-1135. It is published biannually in collaboration with HIPIUS (The Association of Ushuluddin Community), supported by a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The journal aims to publish high-quality scholarly articles that focus on contextualized Islam, contributing to the advancement of Islamic thought and civilization in Indonesia and beyond. Its focus and scope include studies on Muslims’ beliefs, practices, movements, dynamics, case studies, and their social impacts. It embraces interdisciplinary approaches, particularly from Islamic studies, history, humanities, and the social sciences.

Since its establishment in 2000, Jurnal Indo-Islamika has played a significant role in enriching academic discourse on Islam in Indonesia. Since 2013, it has been managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, enabling authors, readers, editors, and reviewers to track manuscript status online and in real time. The journal continues to welcome submissions from academics, researchers, and practitioners for its upcoming issues through the OJS system or via email at indoislamika@uinjkt.ac.id.

Vol. 15 No. 2 (2025): Jurnal Indo-Islamika (December)

Jurnal Indo-Islamika is published by the Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and is indexed in SINTA 2 and DOAJ (P-ISSN: 2088-9445; E-ISSN: 2723-1135). This issue has been available online as part of the regular December 2025 issue. It comprises 15 original research articles authored and co-authored by 64 scholars from 17 countries, namely Indonesia, Gambia, Egypt, Germany, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Cambodia, Malaysia, Türkiye, China, Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan.
