Author Guidelines

General Author Guidelines

Jurnal Penyuluhan Agama (JPA) is a publication media (print and online) for scientific articles from the results of field research, the results of literature reviews (critical/literature review), as well as the results of community empowerment activities and/or social religious extension carried out by individuals and/or groups of researchers, practitioners and academics (students, and/or lecturer). Manuscripts sent to JPA are currently written in English or Indonesian, except for the title and abstract which are written in good and correct Indonesian and English according to grammatical rules. If the author has sent the manuscript to JPA, accompanied by a letter of ethics and copyright transfer, in general, the author is prohibited from:

1) submit the publication of the same manuscript to other journals at the same time;

2) sending the same manuscript to another journal when the manuscript of this article is being assessed and/or has been received by the Jurnal Penyuluhan Agama (JPA) team for publication; and

3) revoke the manuscript after the manuscript is declared accepted for publication, if this is violated then the author cannot submit the manuscript for the next article up to 4 (four) consecutive publications;

Therefore, manuscripts accepted at JPA are manuscripts that:

1) are original, not plagiarized, and have novelty;

2) has never been published or is in the process of being published in other media;

3) must be based on field research.

4) turnitin is used to check all accepted manuscripts with a maximum tolerance of 30% (see Publication Ethics). If the similarity is more than 30%, then the manuscript must be revised or rejected.
