Ilmu Ushuluddin supports open access and sharing of scholarly works to foster collaboration and knowledge dissemination. This policy outlined the repository archiving permissions for the publisher's version/PDF under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License while recognizing that the journal holds the copyright of authors' works. Ilmu Ushuluddin is following Sherpa/Romeo's policy.
Pre-Print and Post Print Archiving
To avoid confusion among readers and researchers stemming from multiple versions, the pre-print (submitted version) and post-print are not available for open access. This ensures the accuracy and consistency of articles across various repositories.
Publisher's Version/PDF Archiving
The publisher's version/PDF refers to the final published version of the article as it appears on the Ilmu Ushuluddin website or other publication platform. While authors hold the copyright to their manuscripts, they are permitted to share the publisher's version/PDF in non-commercial repositories and on personal websites with 2 (two) months embargo period. Authors can upload the PDF file to any repository after 2 (two) months after it was published.
Author(s) may share, post, or deposit the publisher's version/PDF under several conditions as follows:
- Publisher copyright and source must be acknowledged with citation
- Published source must be acknowledged
- Must link to publisher version with DOI
License Conditions
The publisher's version/PDF archived in repositories must be accompanied by the appropriate Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. The license allows others to share and adapt the material. In addition, the material must be given appropriate credit, provided with a link to the license, and indicated if changes were made. If authors remix, transform, or build upon the material, authors must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.
Compliance and Attribution
Authors are responsible for ensuring their archiving practices comply with Ilmu Ushuluddin's policies and copyright regulations. When depositing manuscripts in repositories, authors should provide appropriate attribution to Ilmu Ushuluddin and acknowledge the original publication.
Review of the Policy
Ilmu Ushuluddin will periodically review and update this repository policy to ensure its alignment with the evolving best practices in scholarly publishing and repository archiving. Any revisions to this policy will be communicated to authors and made publicly available on the journal's website.
