Abstract

This research aims to study and investigate the manuscript of I’lam An Nasyr fi Bayan Ahkam Qunut Al Fajr by Al-Habib Salem bin Jindan (d. 1969 AD)  and introduce his figure, that he is an expert scholar of hadith and history of Indonesia from 20^th century AD. The research method used is by comparing the two manuscripts of this book that I got from the al Fakhriyah library and then I write the difference between the two, then I explain the verses and hadiths, then explain foreign words or terms. Likewise, this study uses descriptive research methods by gathering references related to this book from the library to validate information in this book. From this study, it has finished tahqiq book I’lam an nasyr fi bayan ahkam qunut al fajr and validity in naming this book, is attributed to habib Salim. Because the compilation of this book is as a rebuttal to writing written by syaikh ahmad hasan al hindi where he denied the doom of dawn of qunut. Habib Salim answered thanks with strong arguments and detailed answers.
