Al-Kauniyah is a scientific journal published biannually (in April and October), in collaboration with the Association of Lecturer in Biology throughout the State Islamic Higher University (PTKIN) in Indonesia. The journal publishes articles in the major of biology and related fields, including systematics, physiology and metabolism, molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, bioinformatics, cell and developmental biology, microbiology, ecology, and bioconservation, being written in English. Al-Kauniyah publishes an article in the form of research article, short communication and review that have never been published or not being sent to other media. All of the issues require containing a new aspect or information.
