Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosi, Motivasi Berprestasi, dan Profil Demografi Terhadap Adversity Quotient Mahasiswa Penghafal Al-Qur’an
This study aimed to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, achievement motivation, and demographic profile on adversity quotient students who memorize the Qur'an. This study involved a sample of 205 Qur'anic memorizing students with nonprobability sampling (purposive sampling) techniques. The measuring instrument used in this study was the adaptation of the Adversity Quotient Profile (AQP), Assessing Emotion Scale (AES), Achievement Motivation Inventory (AMI). Test the validity of the measuring instrument using the confimatory factor analysis (CFA) technique. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed a significant effect on emotional intelligence, achievement motivation, and demographic profile of adversity quotient students who memorized the Qur'an. Self-regulation of emotional intelligence and self-control variables of achievement motivation variables had significant effect toward adversity quotient. Future research is expected to develop this research by involving the other variables, as religiosity, spirituality, etc.
