The journal is committed to advancing high-quality scholarly research on contemporary theoretical and applied issues across the social and political sciences. JISI publishes original research articles that address contemporary issues in the fields of social and political sciences in Muslim society, and beyond. The journal covers a broad range of disciplines, including political science, sociology, anthropology, international relations, public administration, as well as cultural and gender studies. Key themes include governance, public policy, political theory, social change, cultural dynamics, global politics, public service management, identity, diversity, social justice, and gender relations.
