Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Indonesia (JISI) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP), Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The journal is committed to advancing scholarly research on contemporary theoretical and applied issues across the social and political sciences. It publishes original research articles that explore contemporary issues within Muslim societies and beyond, encompassing Political Science (governance, public policy, political theory, electoral studies and democratization), Sociology (social structures, inequality, social change and community development), Anthropology (cultural dynamics, traditions and socio-cultural transformations), International Relations (global politics, foreign policy, international organizations and transnational issues), Public Administration (bureaucratic governance, public service management and e-government), and Cultural and Gender Studies (identity, diversity, social justice and gender relations). As an open-access journal, JISI ensures global readership by allowing free access and downloads of all published articles, increasing visibility and citation potential. The journal employs a double-blind peer review system to uphold academic integrity and fairness throughout the editorial and publication process.
