Author Guideline
General Guidelines
- Manuscripts submitted to KONVENSI must be original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration in any other journal.
- Manuscripts must be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English using clear academic language.
- Manuscripts must follow the KONVENSI Author Template, available on the journal website.
- Submission is accepted only through the OJS system; email submissions are not processed.
- The recommended manuscript length is 4,000–8,000 words including tables and figures.
- Articles must follow the structure:
- Introduction
- Literature Review / Related Work
- Research Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Manuscripts must be prepared in A4, with margins 2.5 cm, Times New Roman 12 pt, and 1.5 spacing.
- Pagination must be applied to all pages.
- Authors are required to use reference management software (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).
- KONVENSI applies double-blind peer review for all submissions.
- Manuscripts must pass similarity screening:
- Similarity index < 20% (Turnitin)
- AI-generated content < 30% (if applicable)
- Citations must use APA 7th Edition style.
Article Types
KONVENSI accepts the following manuscript types:
- Full Research Paper
- Review Article (including systematic review and meta-analysis)
- Short Communication
- Policy Analysis / Case Study
- Theoretical or Conceptual Article
Manuscript Structure
Opening Section
- Title
The title must clearly represent the study using straightforward, informative wording with a maximum of 15 words. Titles should be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. - Author Name(s)
Authors are listed using full names (first name and last name) without academic titles. The journal accepts a maximum of six authors. - Author Affiliation
Each author's institutional affiliation should be stated completely, including department, faculty, university, and country. - Corresponding Author
Provide the email address of the corresponding author who will handle all communication during the publication process. - Abstract
The abstract must be written in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with a length of 150–200 words. The abstract should briefly describe the research background, objectives, methods, main findings, and significance of the study. - Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords that best represent the content of the manuscript, arranged alphabetically.
Main Section
- Introduction
The introduction should explain the research problem, its context, the gap in previous studies, the research objectives, and the underlying theoretical foundation. It may also include a brief description of the expected research contribution. - Literature Review / Related Work
This section provides a review of relevant theoretical perspectives and previous studies supporting the research. It should demonstrate how the current study aligns with or differs from previous scholarly work. - Research Method
This section describes the methodology used in conducting the study, including research design, data sources, data collection techniques, sample or participants, and analytical procedures. Any instruments, tools, or materials used should be clearly mentioned. - Results and Discussion
The results should be presented systematically and clearly, supported by tables, figures, or charts when necessary. The discussion should interpret the findings and connect them to the theoretical framework or previous studies. Statistical calculations do not need to be shown in full detail; only the relevant results should be presented. - Conclusion
This section should summarize the main findings, highlight the contributions of the study, discuss any limitations, and provide recommendations for further research or practical implications.
Closing Section
- Acknowledgements (Optional)
Acknowledgements may be included to recognize funding sources, institutional support, or individuals who contributed to the research but are not listed as authors. - References
All references listed must follow APA 7th Edition formatting. A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 75% originating from reputable academic journals within the last five years. Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Submission Process
- Register & Login into the OJS system.
- Click New Submission and follow the five steps:
- Start Submission
- Upload Manuscript
- Enter Metadata (title, abstract, authors, keywords)
- Upload Supplementary Files (optional)
- Confirm Submission
- Authors will receive an email confirmation.
- Submission status can be tracked via the OJS dashboard.
Ethical Requirements
- Authors must comply with publication ethics and avoid:
- Plagiarism
- Data fabrication
- Falsification
- Multiple submissions
- Research involving human subjects must include an ethical clearance statement (if applicable).
Submission Preparation Checklist
Authors must confirm the following before submission:
- Manuscript is original and not under review elsewhere.
- Manuscript follows the KONVENSI template.
- Similarity index is <20%.
- References follow APA 7th Edition.
- Abstract is provided in two languages.
- All author information is complete and accurate.
- Figures and tables are placed correctly in the manuscript.
