About the Journal

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies is a scholarly journal published by the Qur'an and Hadith Academic Society in collaboration with the Graduate School of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta. Published twice a year in June and December, the journal serves as an academic forum for the exploration and interpretation of the Qur'an and Hadith. It welcomes critical and original articles that discuss Qur'anic studies, tafsir, hadith, and their diverse methodologies and perspectives, providing a platform for scholars to engage in meaningful dialogue about classical and contemporary Islamic thought.

Since becoming a Crossref member in 2015, every article published in the Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies has been assigned a unique DOI, ensuring global accessibility and citation traceability. The journal holds both P-ISSN 2089-3434 and E-ISSN 2252-7060, reflecting its commitment to maintaining academic integrity and international publishing standards. Through its consistent publication and rigorous peer-review process, the journal continues to contribute significantly to the enrichment of Qur'anic and Hadith scholarship in Indonesia and beyond.
