Focus and Scope

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies (ISSN 2089-3434; E-ISSN 2252-7060) is a journal published by Qur'an and Hadith Academic Society and Graduate School Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta.

The journal is published twice annually (June and December) and consists of articles on Qur'anic studies, tafsir, hadith and their interpretations.

FOCUS

The focus is to provide readers with a better understanding of Qur'an, tafsir, and Hadith studies and present developments through the publication of articles and book reviews.

SCOPE

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies specializes in Qur'an, tafsir and Hadith studies and their interpretations. It covers the studies of Qur'an, tafsir and hadith in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, in the Muslim World and in the Western countries, either in the classical, medieval and modern/contemporary periods.
