Author Guidelines

UIN Law Review provides a forum for publishing original research articles, review articles, and scholarly discussions on law and human rights. Research articles addressing law and human rights, related disciplines are particularly welcome. The journal publishes original research reports, review articles, short communications, and scientific commentaries in the field of law and human rights.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be written in proper English or Indonesian. Authors whose native language is neither English nor Indonesian are encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed prior to submission to ensure grammatical accuracy and clarity. Submitted works must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The official languages of manuscripts published in UIN Law Review are English and Indonesian.

 

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under aCreative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  • Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  • Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
  • By submitting this manuscript, the authors confirm their understanding of and agreement to pay the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance for publication

 

 General Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted to Ahkam Editorial Office by Online Submission at the E-Journal portal address: http://journal.uinjkt.ac.id/index.php/ahkam/user/register, where the author register as an author and/or is offered as a Reviewer online. If authors have any problems with the online submission, please contact Editorial Office at the following email: jurnal.ahkam@uinjkt.ac.id.

The following documents should accompany the manuscripts submitted online through the online submission interface (as supplementary files):

  • A covering letter outlines the basic findings of the paper and their significance.
  • Manuscripts are accepted for publication as original research articles.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
