This study aims to analyze the role of the Alumni Association of Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (IKALUIN) in supporting student development and facilitating graduates’ transition into the workforce in a more systematic and sustainable manner. The research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive-analytical method through document analysis, in-depth interviews, and observation of the alumni management system within UIN Jakarta. Data were obtained from institutional regulations, interviews with alumni administrators, alumni members, and active students, as well as other relevant supporting documents. The data were analyzed thematically to identify management patterns, challenges, opportunities, and the need to strengthen alumni engagement. The findings indicate that IKALUIN’s management has not been optimally integrated, particularly in terms of alumni database management, implementation of tracer studies, and alumni involvement in career development services. The absence of formal regulations and a centralized digital system constitutes a major barrier to maximizing alumni contributions to graduate employability. This study recommends institutional strengthening, alumni data digitalization, integration of mentoring programs, and optimization of tracer studies as strategies to enhance sustainable career development services at UIN Jakarta.
