KEEFEKTIFAN STRATEGI TEAM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP RETENSI MEMORI DAN SCORE PENGETAHUAN MATA KULIAH FISIOLOGI
Abstract
Latar belakang: Kesulitan perawat dan mahasiswa perawat dalam memahami materi fisiologi merupakan masalah penting untuk kelangsungan melaksanakan proses keperawatan selanjutnya. Tujuan tujuan penelitian untuk mencari pengaruh atau efek penerapan team based learning pada mata kuliah fisiologi terhadap retensi memori dan peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen pada dua group yang berbeda, group team based learning dan tradisional based learning (kuliah mimbar) pada sejumlah 176 mahasiswa yang berasal dari dua insitusi pendidikan keperawatan, kesioner diberikan pada mahasiswa terkait dengan karakteristik dan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap mata kuliah fisiologi. Hasil: Adanya hubungan yang significant strategi TBL dengan tingkat pengetahuan dan retensi memori. Strategi TBL berpengaruh pada peningkatan pemahaman terhadap materi fisiologi dibandingkan dengan strategi Tra serta retensi pengetahuan pada TBL menujukan hasil yang jauh lebih baik, setelah dilakukan pengukuran satu minggu setelah kegiatan, pada curva lupa, daya ingat terhadap hapalan biasanya cenderung menurun, namun sebaliknya, TBL menunjukan kenaikan dibandikan dengan kelompok Tra. Kesimpulan: TBL memiliki terbukti memiliki pengaruh pada retensi memori yang lebih baik pada hari ke enam, dan menunjukan skor pengetahuan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Tra.
