About the Journal

Virtu: Kajian Komunikasi Budaya dan Islam is an academic journal that publishes the results of research, conceptual studies, and critical analyses in the fields of communication, culture, and Islamic studies. The journal aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners to disseminate ideas and scientific findings that contribute to the development of knowledge, particularly at the intersection of communication, culture, and Islamic values.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, Islamic communication, digital preaching, intercultural communication, media and society, local culture, identity studies, media literacy, and contemporary issues related to social and religious transformation. The journal accepts manuscripts in Indonesian or English that have not been published or are under consideration for publication in other media.
