DOA PERNIKAHAN “MENGHIMPUN YANG TERSERAK” DALAM WEDDING INVITATION: ASAL-USULNYA DALAM KITAB HADIS SUNNI, SYIAH DAN KONTESTASI IDEOLOGI
Abstract
Abstract:
This article attempts to trace the origins of the translation of the Prophet Muhammad's prayer which is claimed to have been recited at Ali and Fatimah's wedding using the phrase "Gathering the scattered". This prayer is popular among the wedding invitation card industry players. The claim that the prayer is connected to the Prophet, Ali and Fatimah has prompted some to conclude and stigmatize that the prayer originates from the Shiites. By conducting a search and comparison of Sunni and Shia hadith literature, as far as is accessible, it is found that the translation of the popular wedding prayer has elements in common with the editorials contained in both Sunni and Shia literature. However, different details between prayers are popular in the community and prayers that are contained in both corpora of literature. Especially regarding the details of the benefits and forms of hereditary blessings. These details are additions outside the hadith (interpretation). This prayer can be practiced. However, attribution to the Prophet saw. will be problematic if viewed from the point of view of Hadith Science. From the point of view of the sociological context, the stigmatization of the prayer "Gathering the scattered" has grown together with the emergence of the anti-Shi'a movement in Indonesia in the last decade as a result of the Arab Spring in the Middle East.
