Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku dan Hasil Produksi pada PT Gemilang Sinergitama Mandiri

Abstract

PT Gemilang Sinergitama Mandiri (PT GSM) is a private company engaged in the printing industry by providing printing services of books and other print services. The production process is carried out by PT GSM is to produce prints that are tailored to demand and orders from consumers. Currently PT GSM not yet have a system that accommodates the exchange of information on all the company's business activities, especially in the operational divisions and their sub-divisions. Information systems are built aiming to improve process effectiveness in business processes so companies can improve service to consumers, as well as assist in managing both information as well as information on the operational activities of the company transaction information. Information system which will be applied constructed using prototype system development methods as well as using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) for determining the amount of raw materials to be ordered. Information system design using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as the tools used in describing the system to be built. Implementation of information systems that will be built is to use the PHP language and the end result is a web application that connects to a database which both run on a single server.
