Abstract


This study discusses the Decision Support System (DSS) promotion officer at the Biro Kepegawaian
Sekretariat Negara Republik Indonesia. Currently BAPERJAKAT (Badan Pertimbangan Jabatan dan Kepangkatan) which will provide suggestions and advice to the Minister of the Sekretariat Negara Republik Indonesia does not use the computerized Decision Support System (DSS), which still uses decisions tables BAPERJAKAT made by the Biro
Kepegawaian to be filled, members BAPERJAKAT will analyzing the decision table based on job competency, so that the aspect of subjective assessment in the assessment process is still vulnerable to be done, especially if there are some employees who have the ability not so much different. The collection of data using the method of literature review, observation and personal interviews. The approach carried out in a structured system development methodology System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model with Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), and AHP (Analytical hierarchy Process) as a model of decision making. PHP and MySQL as a means of computer coding. Decision Support System for this promotion can be a solution BAPERJAKAT decision support in helping to calculate the assessment of employee in the promotion process.
