Implementasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Sebagai Perangkat Pendukung Keputusan Dalam Pemilihan Wilayah Program (Studi Kasus: Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam)

Abstract

Each donor has its own mission and objectives while supporting a program. The program can be carried out directly by donors or through an agency consultant/contractor. Donors usually have a budget and a specified period of time in support of a program. Therefore, they need to determine which areas are prioritized to receive their support. This study discusses the use of GIS in determining ACEO program areas in Aceh. Activities undertaken include data collection (primary and secondary) through surveys and interviews. The data obtained were prepared using MS Access and Excel, and then processed using GIS software ArcGIS 3.3 and 9.0 AcrView to produce layers that will be used in decision making. Selection is determined by the number of members of returnees, a long history of conflict , population size, number of infrastructure destroyed by conflict, and access to the region. The end result is 59 villages in four districts: Bireuen, North Aceh, East Aceh and Lhokseumawe ACEO be included in the program. This program will benefit more than 41,000 residents in the villages.
