Abstract

Abstract. This research analyzes the role of career women in exclusive breastfeeding from an Islamic perspective and its relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the PRISMA protocol, this study reviewed 10 selected articles from 309 articles identified from various scientific databases. The analysis results show a harmonization between Islamic teachings on exclusive breastfeeding and SDGs related to maternal and child health. Integration of health technology, development of supportive infrastructure in the workplace, and the maqasid sharia approach are key aspects in facilitating Muslim career women to provide exclusive breastfeeding. This research recommends the development of integrated policies that consider the perspectives of fiqh schools and the socio-economic context of career women to achieve a balance between professional demands and the obligation to provide exclusive breastfeeding within the sustainable development framework.
