Prophetica: Journal of Hadith Studies, published twice a year since 2025, is a high-quality open access peer-reviewed research journal that serves as an international scholarly forum for research on Hadith Studies, Prophetic Traditions, Hadith Criticism, and related Islamic disciplines. Taking an expansive view of the subject, the journal embraces diverse disciplinary perspectives. It publishes high-quality open access peer-reviewed articles on the historical, textual, methodological, theological, and socio-cultural aspects of Hadith studies across time and geography. The journal aims to be one of the leading platforms in the world for new findings and scholarly discussions in these fields.

We warmly welcome contributions from scholars of related disciplines. Articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions are subject to editorial screening and blind peer review. Novelty and relevance to contemporary scholarly debates are priorities in the selection process. Submissions that do not follow the formatting or length guidelines will be rejected without review.
