AUTHOR GUIDELINES
The manuscript general guidelines:
- The article is written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- The original research article is an original research paper that has not been published previously and should not exceed 3000 words (should ideally no more than 10 pages).
- A review article is a review that should not exceed 5000 words (should ideally be: no more than 15 pages)
- The manuscript is typed using the Microsoft Word program with the page layout article is top, bottom, left, and right: 1 inch. Size: A4
- The manuscript does not contain any plagiarism elements.
- The title should be written not exceeding 12 words, with font Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, left alignment, single line.
- The author's name should be written with font Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, left alignment, single line, without an academic or occupational title.
- The author's affiliation should be written in Times New Roman,10 pt, left alignment, single line.
- The corresponding author should be written with font Times New Roman, 10 pt, left alignment, single line.
- The abstract contains the purpose of the research, major findings, and conclusions should be written in 200-300 words with font Times New Roman, 10 pt, single line, justified. Caption “abstract” should be written with font Times New Roman, 10 pt, bold, left alignment, single line.
- Keywords are written in 3-8 words, which identify the most important subjects covered in the manuscript with font Times New Roman, 10 pt, single line, justified, alphabetically.
- The manuscript consists of five main headings: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
- All of the manuscripts submitted to Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Journal will be peer-reviewed and subject to review by the Editors. Every manuscript is subjected to a double-blind review process.
- The Editor will make the final judgment on whether or not a manuscript will be published.
- The author will receive notification from the editor. If the article is approved for publication, the author is required to make some adjustments (if necessary) to the manuscript and submit the updated manuscript; otherwise, the manuscript will be rejected.
- In the rewritten document, the author should carefully analyse the sentence structure, completeness, and accuracy of the text, tables, and graphic materials.
The Guidelines for the Manuscript Body Text
1. Introduction (Heading 1, Times New Roman 11 pt, single, hanging 0.25“)
The introduction describes the background of the problem, the purpose, and the benefits of the research, and a brief study of the theory and concludes with what statement will be examined (problem statement). The manuscript should be written as clearly and concisely as possible, with font Times New Roman, 11, 1 line, justified.
2. Material and methods (Heading 1, Times New Roman 11 pt, left, single, hanging 0.25“)
The material and method contain a complete description of the procedures and materials of the experiment. Only new procedures should be described. Previously published procedures should be referenced. Significant materials should be described in detail. The manuscript should be written as clearly and concisely as possible, with font Times New Roman, 11, 1 line, justified.
3. Sub-headings 1 (Heading 2, Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, left, single, hanging, 0.25”)
Write content with font Times New Roman, 11, 1 line, justified. Sub-heading 2 (Heading 3, Times New Roman, 11 pt, italic, left, hanging, 0.25”).
3. Result and Discussion (Heading 1, Times New Roman 10 pt, single, hanging 0.25 “ )
Results should be clear and concise. Data should be presented in tables or graphs. Summarize the important finding. Avoid describing all the data in detail. The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Clearly state the interpretation of the study results and the discussion of the other relevant published data. Avoid the repetition of studies explained in the introduction. Write content with font Times New Roman, 11 pt, 1 line, justify
4. Conclusion (Heading 1, Times New Roman 11 pt, single, hanging 0.25 “)
The conclusion is a summary of the research results and will be the answers to the hypothesis or research question, which should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions. Write content with font Times New Roman, 11 pt, 1 line, justify
5. Acknowledgement (Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, 1 line, left, hanging 2.5”)
The inclusion of an acknowledgements section is optional. It may include credit for technical assistance, financial support, and other appropriate recognition. Write content with font Times New Roman, 11 pt, 1 line, justify
6. REFERENCES (Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold, single, left, hanging, 2.5”)

- Heading of the table should be written with font Time new roman, 10, 1 line, justify
- The text inside the table should be written using Times New Roman, 9 pt, single space
- Table should be mention in the text.
- Tables should be numbered in Arabic numeral.

- For a figure which has been published before, the author should mention the source.
