PEMBERIAN ORAL SUKROSA UNTUK MENURUNKAN NYERI PADA BAYI PREMATUR: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract


Latar belakang: Bayi prematur berisiko tinggi mengalami nyeri akibat prosedur invasif. Pemberian sukrosa peroral menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi nyeri. Untuk itu, ulasan sistematik ini bertujuan menilai kualitas artikel secara sistematis dan mensintesis artikel terkait pengaruh pemberian sukrosa oral terhadap tingkat nyeri pada bayi prematur. Metode: Artikel penelitian bersumber dari Science Direct, PubMed, dan Proquest. Artikel yang diulas merupakan penelitian Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) dengan tahun terbit 2019-2021. Kata kunci yang digunakan oral sucrose, preterm infants, pain, sukrosa oral, bayi prematur, dan nyeri yang dikombinasi secara beragam. Selanjutnya artikel diseleksi mengikuti alur diagram PRISMA dan dinilai kualitas artikel dengan instrumen The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal checklist for randomized controlled trials. Dari 446 artikel terseleksi 5 artikel untuk diulas. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sukrosa oral dapat dijadikan intervensi untuk mengatasi nyeri saat prosedur pengambilan darah pada bayi prematur. Sukrosa oral dapat dikombinasi dengan intervensi lain seperti terapi musik untuk meningkatkan efektivitas. Selain itu, pengulangan dosis sukrosa oral tidak dianjurkan karena tidak memberikan efek yang berbeda dengan dosis tunggal. Meskipun terbukti dapat mengatasi nyeri, sukrosa oral tidak efektif dalam mengurangi nyeri pada prosedur laser untuk ROP. Kesimpulan: Terapi sukrosa oral efektif dalam mengatasi nyeri dengan skala sedang-ringan.
