Uji Validitas Konstruk The Social Provisions Scale

Abstract

The aim of this study was to test the construct validity of Social Provision Scale. The social provision scale was developed by Cutrona and Russell (1987). 30-items of The Social Provision Scale, consists of six dimensions (attachment, social integration, reassurance of worth, reliable alliance, guidance, opportunity for nurturance) are tested. 326 high school students in Jakarta are participated in this research. By using confirmatory factor analysis and helped by Lisrel 8.70 software, the result showed that the subscales are fit to measure one factor model.

 

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji validitas konstruk dari The Social Provisions Scale.  Alat ukur dukungan sosial ini dikembangkan oleh Cutrona dan Russell (1987). Dalam penelitian ini, variabel dukungan sosial terdiri atas enam dimensi yaitu kelekatan, integrasi sosial, adanya pengakuan, ketergantungan untuk dapat diandalkan, bimbingan, dan kesempatan untuk merasadibutuhkan dengan jumlah item sebanyak 30 item. Pelaksanaan tes dilakukan pada siswa  salah satu SMA Negeri di Jakarta  berjumlah 326 orang. Metode analisis faktor yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah CFA (confimatory factor analysis) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak LISREL 8.70. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa semua subskala sesuai mengukur model satu faktor.
