Author Guidelines

GENERAL WRITING FORMAT

Please read the following submission guidelines before submitting your article:

  • The whole article should be written in English.
  • The whole article is written in 11 pt Segoe UI font style, single space, and justify (except in abstract 10 pt).
  • The margin on the top, left, right, and the bottom is 2,54 cm, 3 cm, 3 cm, and 2.54 cm, respectively.
  • The article is written on A4 paper size (210 mm x 297 mm) and uses 1 column layout.
  • The maximum page of the article is 5, and The maximum page of the article is 10.
  • Tabel is created without the vertical line, and the table’s caption was placed on the top of the table using justify format.
  • Either table or picture must be cited from the original source.
  • The information shown below the table and picture must be written using 10 pt Segoe UI font style,, aligned left, and bold.
  • The stem diagram is written using shading style (shaded in areas of the diagram).
  • The caption's table and picture are sequentially numbered.
  • The picture depicted on the page must be in 300 dpi JPEG format, and the Picture’s caption placed at the bottom of the picture.
  • All of the articles that will be submitted must be written in proper language including, title, author’s name, abstract, introduction, method, result and discussion, conclusions, and references.

ARTICLE WRITING FORMAT

Each of the articles section should be written using the following arrangement:

Article Title

  • Describes containing the main idea briefly and clearly.
  • Font size: 14 pt style, and bold

Author Name

  • The author's name is written completely (without academic title)
  • Author’s name followed by institution’s name and email address (email address only for the corresponding author)

Abstract

  • Font size: 10 pt, single space.
  • The abstract must contain all of the article's main ideas comprehensively (Background, method, result and discussion, and research contribution)
  • The minimum and maximum words of the abstract are 150 and 200 words, respectively.
  • The maximum keywords for abstract are 5, and each keyword is separated by a comma (,).

Introduction

  • Font size: 11 pt, single space.
  • The author must describe the research background, the important aspect of the research, the research aim, and the research benefit.

Research Method

  • Font size: 11 pt, single space.
  • The author should write all materials and devices (including specifications) used in the research
  • Research procedures should be written briefly

Results and Discussions

  • Font size: 11 pt, single space
  • Results and Discussions should be written briefly and clearly.
  • The author should describe all of the result data, connection with the existing theory, and relevancy with other research done by other researchers previously.
  • At this stage, the author should explore the significance of the research, and avoid citation that was not taken from the specific literature.
  • The important part of the discussion sections:
    • The author has a chance to sell the author’s research data
    • Explanation of the research restricted only around the scope of the research, but not repeat the result.
    • Is the result consistent with the previous research?

Conclusion

  • Font size: 11 pt, single space
  • Conclusions are written briefly and clearly in paragraph format and must answer the research aim.
  • At this stage, the author should describe the research contribution in advanced science nowadays.

REFERENCE

  • References used had to include 80% derived from primary sources (a scientific article) that rises the last five years and 20% source of reference secondary other.
  • All references which are used in the article should be cited either in the introduction, research methodology, and discussion.
  • Written using Times New Roman font style 10 pt.
  • All literature given in the article should be separated by a distance (one time enter).
  • Writing format of the reference written with the name of the writer (started by last name writer) and all writers written completely and must have a minimum as follows:

The reference style used is according to the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition. It is highly recommended to use the reference manager to organize the references such as Zotero, Mendeley or Endnote. The APA 6th Style can be found here:

All articles should use citation writing format as follow:

Example of citation writing format:

[1] Zaidan, (2005) or Hendrawati et al., (2015) argues that education should promote freedom and social justice.

or

[1] It is arguable to say that education should promote freedom and social justice (Zaidan, 2015) for the single author,

(Zaidan dan Hendrawati, 2015) for two authors and (Hendrawati et al., 2015) for multiple authors.

 

 

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word or TEX file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
