Struktur Factor Psychopathy Personality Inventory (PPI)

Abstract


Pyschopathy atau psikopat merupakan gangguan kepribadian yang dicirikan oleh egocentricity, fearlessness, persistence violence of social norms dan lack of empathy, guilt dan remorse. Salah satu alat ukur yang digunakan dalam mengukur psychopathy yaitu psychopathy personality inventory (PPI). Mengingat perdebatan struktur factor dari PPI yang masih simpang siur, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai struktur factor PPI. Adapun struktur factor atau model yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) apakah benar terdapat 2 faktor di dalam PPI (impulsive antisociality dan fearless dominance), yang kemudian terbagi menjadi 8 dimensi?. 2) apakah benar bahwa 2 faktor di dalam PPI tersebut tidak saling berkorelasi?. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Syarif Hidyatullah Jakarta sejumlah 309. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji struktur factor PPI yaitu confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa memang benar PPI terdiri dari 8 dimensi, namun 2 faktor di dalam PPI yaitu impulsive antisociality dan fearless dominance saling berkorelasi hampir mendekati satu (r = 0.93). Dengan demikian di dalam stuktur factor PPI sesungguhnya hanya ada model 1 faktor (psychopathy) dengan 8 dimensi berikut item pada tiap dimensi tersebut.
