Insaniyat : Journal of Islam and Humanities is a scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Indonesia. It is a medium for scholarly discussion concerning the media, culture, and humanities, including the newer information and communication technologies in the muslim societies, within cultural and historical contexts. 

The journal is interdisciplinary, regularly engaging with a wider range of issues in humanities studies. Its focus is on substantive topics and on critique and innovation in theory and method. The journal is published twice a year (May and November).

Insaniyat : Journal of Islam and Humanities has become a Crossref Member since the year 2017. Therefore, all articles published by the Journal will have unique DOI number.

Insaniyat : Journal of Islam and Humanities is nationally accredited with SINTA 2 by Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Jakarta, Indonesia. Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 about Grade of Accredited Scientific Journal in 31^th December, 2026.

Insaniyat : Journal of Islam and Humanities is collaborated with Asosiasi Dosen Ilmu-Ilmu Adab (ADIA) and Asosiasi Dosen Ilmu Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (ASDIP PTKI). This Association consists of all Adab and Humanities Faculties of State Islamic University in Indonesia.This collaboration is highly important to develop and enrich scientific discussion related to the study of Islam and Humanities.
