Abstract

Konsep manusia ideal menjadi tema sentral dalam berbagai pemikiran filosofis dan spiritual Islam, termasuk dalam karya-karya Imam al-Ghazālī. Dalam perspektif Imam al-Ghazālī, manusia ideal adalah individu yang mampu menyeimbangkan aspek jasmani dan rohani, akal dan hati, serta dunia dan akhirat. Imam al-Ghazālī memandang bahwa puncak kesempurnaan manusia terletak pada pencapaian ma'rifah (pengetahuan sejati tentang Tuhan) yang hanya dapat diperoleh melalui penyucian jiwa (tazkiyat al-nafs) dan pengendalian hawa nafsu. Melalui pendekatan sufistik dan etika Islam, Imam al-Ghazālī menegaskan pentingnya integrasi ilmu, amal, dan akhlak sebagai fondasi pembentukan manusia paripurna. Abstrak ini membahas secara sistematis konsep manusia ideal menurut Imam al-Ghazālī dengan merujuk pada karya-karya utamanya seperti Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn, Tahāfut al-Falāsifah, al-Qisṭās al-Mustaqīm, al-Munqidh min al-Ḍalāl, Kîmiyâ’ al-Sa‘Âdah, Mishkat al-Anwār in Majmû`ah al-Rasā’il, serta relevansinya dalam pembentukan karakter manusia modern yang menghadapi krisis spiritual dan moral.
