Strategi Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Melalui Zakat: Tinjauan Teoritis Dari Berbagai Model Pengelolaan

Abstract

This study aims to explore various zakat management models that have the potential to empower the economic well-being of mustahiq (zakat recipients). Utilizing a theoretical literature review method, the research evaluates the effectiveness of centralized and decentralized zakat management models in facilitating economic empowerment. The findings suggest that productive zakat management can enhance the welfare of mustahiq through entrepreneurial empowerment and economic capacity building. These results are expected to assist zakat institutions in maximizing zakat's role as a sustainable economic empowerment instrument.
